rock band impressions
11:33pm 16/06/2009

mood: rocking out
I've been playing Rock Band a lot recently, and I have to admit that some of the songs are ridiculously fun to play.

Foreplay/Long Time by Boston has quickly become one of my absolute favourites. As well as Jet's Are You Gonna Be My Girl, which is a great song to strike poses to while playing guitar.

Whenever I get around to playing some drums, I definitely prefer songs that are older than me. For some reason drummers back then weren't so busy trying to get as many off-beats into a measure as possible. Both Gimme Shelter and Mississippi Queen are far more fun to play than The Hand That Feeds or even Go With The Flow. Although admittedly it might simply have to do with the fact, that I don't much care for either song.
